LIGHTING:

•   PERMANENT LIGHTING SYSTEM:

•  Festival Grounds House lights:

•  Instant on/off LED lighting through out the main seating area.

•  LED main path lighting surrounding the seating area (must remain on during shows per fire code).

•  LED main path lighting  covering upstage paths (must remain on during shows per fire code).

•  Stage Lighting:

•  High-intensity discharge no-color PAR lamps (HID) used as down-light lighting covering stage. These lights can be used as work lights or main stage lighting when a standard no-color look will suffice.

•  Lighting is pre-hung in a standard white stage wash and can be re-focused based on need wit the use of a *Genie and or *Scissors lift (*rental rates apply).

•  One (1) DA-LITE 16' high x 21' wide Rear/Front projection Video Screen with truss frame. Can be hung or free-standing.

ROOF / RIGGING:

•   ROOF:

•   Steel structural roof with membrane covering main stage.

•   Wings are not covered by membrane.

•   RIGGING GRID POINTS:

•   All rigging points are fixed (no rigging outside of fixed rigging points)

•   Three (3) rows over stage of fixed rigging points running on/off stage with 2,000 pounds maximum point capacity.

     •   Downstage row is comprised of six (6) fixed points - Approximately 10-feet from point to point on center.

          •   Point heights vary from the stage surface - Click on Rigging PDF for chart.

     •   Mid-stage row is comprised of five (5) fixed points - Approximately 10-feet from point to point on center.

•   Seventeen (17) total fixed rigging points with a total roof maximum rigging capacity of 34,000 pounds.

 

•   Minimum of two (2) High riggers and one (1) Ground required for all rigs.

•   Rigging points are easily accessible with Genie lift or scissors lift (not on site)

•   Building does not supply wire rope or shackles unless in-house equipment is used,

PYROTECHNICS:

•    Any show using pyrotechnic effects will be required to submit a detailed effects plot, along with a listing of effect details (placement, weight of charge, direction, and size of effect, ect.) Additionally, a current pyro technician’s license for the lead pyro technician valid for the largest classification of effect used, and MSDS sheets must be received by the Event Manager at least 14 business days prior to the scheduled load-in date. The McGrath Amphitheater reserves the right to require a walk through inspection or full demonstration of the effects in the presence of the local Fire Inspector for any pyrotechnic display.

DRESSING ROOMS - CATERING - PRODUCTION COMPOUNDS

•   The dressing room and catering compound is located stage right.

•   There are no permanent dressing room facilities on site. The venue can supply two (2) rental camper style trailers to be used as dressing rooms.

•   Catering area is located in the dressing room compound and standardly consists of a rental 20x20 tent with sides and a 10x10 tent with sides

LOADING AREA / FORKLIFTS / PARKING:

•   LOADING AREA:

•   The stage has two cement ramps that lead up from the audience level to the stage surface, one stage left and one stage right. Each ramp can accommodate a 53-foot trailer width allowing for two trailers to be unloaded/loaded at once. The trailer will also fit under the roof membrane.

•   There is also two sets of steps leading up to the stage on the upstage and downstage edges.

•   FORKLIFTS, GENIE LIFT, & SCISSORS LEFT:

•   Two (2) 4,500 lbs. Forklifts with One (1) set of Fork Extensions.

•   One (1) Genie Lift  AWP-40s with 46-foot Working Height.

•   One (1) Scissors Lift  with 36-foot Working Height.

•   PARKING:

•   Parking for up to Four (4) Tour Buses - two near stage and two in production area.

•   Parking for up to Three (3) 53-foot semi-tractor-trailers all in production area (Trucks can not be left near stage during performances..
